Making your RAM faster

You might be facing issue with many windows application taking a lot of time to open, also playing games is becoming tough for you. Here is the solution to Boost up you RAM # 1. Minimise the Paging file: The Windows paging file, or page-file, supports system crash dumps and enables the system to use physical RAM more efficiently by writing some file content to disk if the main memory is near capacity. On most Windows 10  with 8 GB of RAM or more, the OS manages the size of the paging file nicely. 2.5 GB is typical on 16 GB systems, and 5 GB on 32 GB systems. 1. Open System Properties. Right-click the  Start  menu, select  System  and then click  Change Settings , or use the Control Panel. 2. Hard Disks- What all you don't know !!

Although hard disk drives kept improving, state-of-the art disks were built according to the concept “bigger is better” well into the ‘80s. Hard disk drives were normally used together with big mainframe computers, so this was not such a big deal. Entire rooms were already set aside for the computers. Here is a 250 MB hard disk drive from 1979. IBM introduced the first hard disk drive to break the 1 GB barrier in 1980. It was called the IBM 3380 and could store 2.52 GB (500 times more than the consumer options at the time). Its cabinet was about the  size of a refrigerator  and the whole thing weighed in at  550 pounds  (250 kg). For a visual on how hard disk drive sizes have changed since the ‘80s until today, have a look at the below image with an old 8-inch drive all the way down to today’s 3.5-inch, 2.5-inch and 1.8-inch drives. Get back that tab you accidentally closed.   If you want to get back a tab you closed, just press "Control" (or "Command" on Mac), plus "Shift," plus "T," and it will magically reappear.    -------------------------------------------------------------- Only screenshot the part of the screen you want. 1. If you only need to screenshot part of the screen, there's a simple way to do it for both Windows and Macs. 2. For Mac: "Command," plus "Shift," plus "4" brings up the tool. Then you just drag the area you want. 3. For Windows: Just go to "Start" and then "Snipping Tool." ----------------------------------------------------------------- Pause YouTube with one click, or skip backward and forward 10 sec Most people know you can hit the space bar to pause a YouTube video, but sometimes this causes it to scroll down the page if you haven't already clic

Is MAC far better than Windows ?

The answers to this is question is a big NO and little Yes. Mac PCs might be the dreams of many youngsters but its important to know the difference b/w a Mac and Windows desktop. 1.The acceptability of Windows is more popular in market and the simple reason to this is the cost and the flexibility.Flexibility to change RAM size, upgrade Graphics and add other hardware devices .Also the availability of  Windows based CPU devices in market is quite good  making users easy to customise and maintain their PCs. This all does not happens with a Mac.They are really strict :P. 2. Windows’s virtual memory is much more effective than Mac’s. A PC running low on memory will run slow, but it won’t breakdown. A Mac running low on memory is much more likely to crash. This means you need less RAM in a Windows computer to ensure it’s reliable. 3. Various Applications related to Software maintenance ,Gaming, User Interfaces , Enterprise Applications are easily available for Windows on

Comparing i3 , i5 and i7 processors

Around 80% of new PCs, and over 90% of laptops, have Intel processors. This means that if you’re in the market for a new computer, you’ll most likely be considering an Intel-powered model. Finding the right chip is hard. Intel's processor ecosystem is strewn with confusing model numbers that actually tell you a lot about the processor you're about to buy, albeit only if you know what you're actually looking for. Intel’s branding doesn’t make it particularly easy for you to choose: it’s not at all obvious what the difference between a Core i3, Core i5 or Core i7 processor is, apart from an ever-increasing amount of cash removed from your wallet.
